Happily Ever After

Once upon a time I dreamt of a knight in shining armour, a beautiful castle and of course my very own happy ending… the illusion of happily ever after was not a dream but a reality in the fairytales that have lived on for what has felt like eternity.

Fairy tales have evolved- the meaning of happily ever after has transcended the simple notion of falling in love with the ONE. Although childlike animation is now filled with talking fish, bugs, robots and what not- the concept of good triumphing over evil remains.

... alluding to the romance of a castle far far away is Disney Couture - I recently received my invitation to the ball (Kidada for Disney Couture)- I fell in love with it the moment I touched it in luxe boutique Pitt St! – this place is amazing, if your after vintage, house of Harlow (Nicole Richie’s jewellery line- but more on that later *wink) and Disney couture

… and though it has been around for a while now- The necklace is as timeless as the fairytale that inspired its creation…

...I think we can all remember the classic fairy tales that have inspired the generations before and although they are now being surpassed by the comical likes of humorous pixar creations, they are still evident in many designs...

* Peter Alexander nightgows ($69.00) reminds me just of Snow white and her striking red lips and midnight black hair- i heard they were stocking in new colours, though i fell in love with the royal blue at first site. To see more of his sweet designs, visit: http://www.peteralexander.com.au/

... And they lived happily ever after…

Yours forever,
Miss C
