Rosemount Sydney Fashion Festival

receiving official notification about the Rosemount Sydney Fashion Festival occurring this August!

As always it will be set up in the upper-heart of the city in Martin Place

from the 17th til the 22nd of August (brrr cold!)

there are both free and ticketed events - bit annoyed i don't work in the city!

tickets go on sale through ticketek on the 15th of July

tickets are from $25+booking fee

to see sticks walk up and down a 20 metre strip; get EXCITED!

I'm Back- I've missed miss violet so much!

For those of you who love your vintage, here's a couple of treats... we have more exploring to do... but today was not a bad start- spot it, love it, suggest it- we're hunting for the no.1 Vintage store in Sydney. First Stop:

Shopping: Thursday Late Night

Today I went shopping at Chatswood Chase and Westfields after work with my lovely Miss Louise... I shouldn't have but I can't help it, I'm also becoming a VERY bad influence on the girls at work too!

Sadly I found out today that my minkpink jumper i bought on monday from www.aboutagirl.com.au - got delayed cause they put down the wrong address =( they said I'll hopefully get it in by tomorrow or latest Monday! *Sad - I was really hoping to wear it tomorrow to Winter Wonderland @ Hyde Park(http://www.winterfestival.com.au/).

Anyways the stuff i bought today:

I should really stop and admitt myself to a group that helps sick people like me =(

maybe we could even have a clothes swap! SUPPPPER!

Skin Care: Arbonne Intelligence

Hi Lovelies,

I recently received this crazy 5-step skin care system that includes a thermal fusion step - which is similar to microdermabrasion, from a kind client at work all the way from WA.

The brand is Arbonne International (http://www.arbonneinternational.com.au/), a Swiss company, and the range is called "Not-so-Basic".

Reading the instructions - it looks really techical, hence the name, and something that I'd probably need to do on the weekend when I've got more time and lesser things on my mind to actually absorb all this in.

Visiting the website - the system uses a range of key ingredients such as blue copper,

zinc, alpha hydroxy acids, phospholipids, antioxidant vitamins A, C and E and is great for all skin types - except for the second step - which of course and unfortunately is the exciting part, the exfoliating masque with thermal fusion.

So no sensitive or acne/blemished skin =( Which means me but I'm going to take the risk cause I've checked the ingredients and there are no signs of benzoyl peroxide (as I am extremely allergic to this!).

There is a warning about the masque - there will be redness and my face may be hot so I'm guessing like other microdermabrasion systems, this basically means no going outside and no sun - so this will become an evening debacle!

So lovelies I will try this over the weekend, take lots of happy snaps and let you know how it all goes!
