Shopping: Thursday Late Night
Today I went shopping at Chatswood Chase and Westfields after work with my lovely Miss Louise... I shouldn't have but I can't help it, I'm also becoming a VERY bad influence on the girls at work too!
Sadly I found out today that my minkpink jumper i bought on monday from www.aboutagirl.com.au - got delayed cause they put down the wrong address =( they said I'll hopefully get it in by tomorrow or latest Monday! *Sad - I was really hoping to wear it tomorrow to Winter Wonderland @ Hyde Park(http://www.winterfestival.com.au/).
Anyways the stuff i bought today:
I should really stop and admitt myself to a group that helps sick people like me =(
maybe we could even have a clothes swap! SUPPPPER!
haha....

Skin Care: Arbonne Intelligence
Hi Lovelies,
I recently received this crazy 5-step skin care system that includes a thermal fusion step - which is similar to microdermabrasion, from a kind client at work all the way from WA.
The brand is Arbonne International (http://www.arbonneinternational.com.au/), a Swiss company, and the range is called "Not-so-Basic".
Reading the instructions - it looks really techical, hence the name, and something that I'd probably need to do on the weekend when I've got more time and lesser things on my mind to actually absorb all this in.
Visiting the website - the system uses a range of key ingredients such as blue copper,
zinc, alpha hydroxy acids, phospholipids, antioxidant vitamins A, C and E and is great for all skin types - except for the second step - which of course and unfortunately is the exciting part, the exfoliating masque with thermal fusion.
So no sensitive or acne/blemished skin =( Which means me but I'm going to take the risk cause I've checked the ingredients and there are no signs of benzoyl peroxide (as I am extremely allergic to this!).
There is a warning about the masque - there will be redness and my face may be hot so I'm guessing like other microdermabrasion systems, this basically means no going outside and no sun - so this will become an evening debacle!
So lovelies I will try this over the weekend, take lots of happy snaps and let you know how it all goes!
Wish me luck!

MAC Attack!
Good lazy Sunday afternoon!
Waking up at 11 hangover-free on a Sunday is one of the nicest feelings but now I’m looking for a coffee and some buttered toast and thinking about what I should do today… the pile of laundry building up? Or maybe baking that apple crumble cake I keep thinking about?

But I got so excited, I've decided to blog first because I've just come across this little gem!
One of the most seriously amazing products that you could ever put on your face for a fairly reasonable price tag - fashionistas you know that I'm talking about the most illustrious cosmetic company to walk this planet, M-A-C!
Waltzing down the catwalks for the renowned fashion houses for the last decade, MAC has produced a name for itself for its strong bold long lasting colours and the amazing concepts, MAC Looks, they've produced.
So whilsts browsing their US website, one of the best layouts I've ever browsed through too, I came across a how-to section with video, text and a product list - I was honestly in bliss!
Check it out here: http://www.maccosmetics.com/makeup_artistry/video_mineralize.tmpl

Exams and the whatnots

Lucky me! I've finally finished those dreaded end of semester exams and can now put my feet up and do nothing! ahhhh bliiiissssss!?
No sadly, its bliss gone sour! Now I have that panging guilt riddled all through my head and don't tell me you have no idea what I'm talking about! The thoughts of failure due to lack of attention whilst studying; which I can barely recall as studying... moreso cramming everything on those boring little slides that don't tell you quite enough just the night before the 9am exam the next morning.
If you've finished exams and feeling alike, join the club but if you haven't - here are the things I would have done and some tips that helped me cram...
- Study in the quiet/slience area of the library
- If you feel like nothings sticking - get up, walk around and get some fresh air; totally helps to clear the head
- Write a quick study plan - jot down the lecture and tutorial content you need to get through and then break them up and allocate them to a specific day
- Don't think about after the exams - its hard not to but it's really distracting and really contributes to the procastinating
- If you're strapped for time and you've left study til the very last minute - read the case studies and focus on those dot points in the lecture focus/overview (usually second slide)
- Take a bottle of water with you but don't bring snacks - they'll just help you panic
- Leave the laptop at home!

I'm sure when my man reads this, he will laugh his ass off in disbelief! Nonetheless I will be partying on cheap happy hour cockatils with the girls from work this friday night yaaaay!
Study Hard!

A French Phoenix
Although both myself and Miss C are in critical MIA (missing in action) due to the quick creep of end of semester exams - I couldn't help but post about the new Phoenix album, Wolfgang Amadeus... one of the short list of thing getting me through such a troubling time, *whinger - I know!*
Top 3 favourite tracks on the album...
1. 1901 - honestly I could just see myself in a jumping castle dancing to this
2. Armistice - loves it!
3. Lisztomania - cruisy song
Check out their myspace to sample their new tunes!
Good luck with exams my missys (?),

Unbloginess
Pardon our tardiness… though we do have a good excuse. As you may have noticed our blog has been somewhat untouched- our posts are growing- becoming shorter and shorter. Though in Miss L’s and my defence we are currently in study mode- a.k.a "intense procrastination"…
And for all of you struggling uni students out there I’m sure you can relate. Here are some absolute necessities to get you through your exam period….

The relevant instruments- the one you can use… no matter how dated. My casio calculator that I have been punching since the young age of 12- sure they have better versions- I just like to think of it as retro *wink….
Sweets- to give you that sugar high during such a low period of the year… cookies and creams brightens up even the most dull rainy days- or which ever you prefer xxx…

Drinks for pure hydration purposes- alcohol is optional… each to their own… x)
Lace tights to make you feel sexy even though you have panda eyes, unshaven legs and dishevelled hair*… I say own the *I look like I just woke up from the dead look…
And ofcourse youre very own goodluck charm ....
... a horseshoe, rabbits foot, a photo of loved ones... because during such a dim time... there is hope... this is the arguably the most dreaded time in the year...
Wishing my fellow students luck and prosperity....
Loving you always .......

MISS C XOXO
